Steve Koehn is a real estate veteran and has been a full-time Realtor® since 2009. An active listener who has a passion for understanding the needs and wants of his clients, Steve has a broad personal experience in the industry --- making him a highly sought after Realtor® RE/MAX River City.

Steve loves working with different types of clients. He has seen success working with various demographics. And here’s his secret:

“I do my best work for clients who are open and transparent with me. When I know who someone is and the goals they are trying to achieve, I can be at my best.”

Prior to being a Realtor®, Steve earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a major in Operations Management/Finance from the University of Alberta and used what he learned to build computer models to analyze massive amounts of data that help managers make great decisions.

Steve’s journey with Real Estate started as a sideline while in University; beginning with rental suites in his personal residence and branching out to include short-term flips to long-term rentals, condos to whole apartment buildings, and property maintenance to major renovations. That broad experience was invaluable when he became a full time Realtor and is ready to be used to your advantage when working with Steve.

A proud father of active twin boys, Steve loves family activities like travelling (he’s been to 50+ countries) and skiing. He enjoys playing in the local climbing gym with friends, and developing functional fitness that allows him to keep up with his kids. Steve likes developing strategy necessary to win modern board games and is an avid follower of blogs like Mr. Money Mustache (personal finance), and Electrek (green energy technology).

A long-time Garneau resident, Steve invests time volunteering in his community as a community soccer coach and on various non-profit boards. He is proud to have chaired the board that opened the Neighbour Centre, a resource centre serving the homeless of South Edmonton.
